Digital editing is almost inevitable for many of our customers and clients. When images are supplied by you, the customer, we usually begin by balancing the colors, removing spots, stains, wrinkles, rips etc. and proofing so that you can make sure the resulting image is made to your satisfaction.
The sooner we begin the scanning process the better. We have had prints come in for a digital image capture and literally be falling apart, flaking and disintegrating right before our eyes. We need to capture that image professionally so that the memories or family history that go along with it can be preserved forever.
Digital editing is charged at a rate of $150.00 per hour charged in 1/2 hour increments. ($75.00) This might include but not be limited to:
Cropping
Color Correction
Re-sizing for print
Sharpening
Proofing
Removing unwanted details or adding missing details
Spot and Dust Removal
Adding text or copyright information
Digital Coaching
Consultations by appointment are FREE For first time customers. After our first meeting we do offer consultations for $150 per hour, however if we are discussing your work in regards to an order you are placing this fee may be reduced or waived.
Disclaimers
Due to copyright laws, we will need proof of artist / photographer consent to print works that are not originating from you. Exceptions include pieces that are 100+ yrs old or in the public domain.
Print pricing may vary due to supply chain issues and increased prices of our papers, matboards, foam core and frames. Unfortunately these costs must be passed on in order for our business to survive.
